Who we are

Protein Plate Kitchen (protein-plate.com) is run by Jelena Domazet in the United Kingdom. Questions or requests: proteinplatekitchen@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

Free mini cookbook: when you request the free recipes we collect your email address, the date, where you signed up, and whether the free PDF email was sent. We use this to deliver the PDF you asked for (legal basis: taking steps at your request).

Marketing emails (optional): only if you tick the box, we also record that you agreed, when, and the exact wording you agreed to. We then send occasional new recipes, cooking inspiration and offers (legal basis: consent). Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to withdraw consent at any time.

Purchases: payments for the £8.99 cookbook are handled by Stripe. We don't see or store your card details. Stripe shares your email and order details with us so we can deliver your cookbook and send your receipt.

Site statistics: we count anonymous events such as page visits and button clicks to understand what works. These counts never include your email address or name.

Who processes your data for us

Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), and Lovable Cloud (website hosting and secure database). They process data only to provide these services to us. Some providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Free-cookbook signups without marketing consent are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. If you agreed to marketing, we keep your details until you unsubscribe; after that we keep only a minimal record so we don't email you again. Order records are kept as required for tax and accounting.

How we protect it

Subscriber details are stored in a restricted database that only the site owner can access after signing in. They are never sold or made public.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email us and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
